Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Architect with over 10 years of expertise in luxury high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality design. This is an independent contractor position.. As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in our design team, leading projects from concept to completion and collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of exceptional designs.
Successful Applicants need to possess the following:
-M Arch (Advantageous) / B.Tech / BAS
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in luxury high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality design.
-Advanced proficiency in Revit is essential; knowledge of other design software such as Photoshop, Powerpoint and AutoCAD is a plus
-Advanced knowledge of Lumion, Twin Motion or D5.
- Proven track record of leading successful projects, demonstrating exceptional design skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Ability to think critically, solve complex design problems, and make informed decisions that align with project objectives.
- An ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail
-All contractors are required to have a minimum internet speed of 30MB (upload and download speeds)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and review the design process for luxury high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, from initial concept development to final construction documentation.
- Oversee and guide a team of up to 8-12 members' daily activities
- Collaborate with internal teams, including architects, designers and engineers
- Effectively manage resources and tasks assigned to meet deadlines
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements, applying them to enhance the design process and deliver exceptional results.
- Mentor and guide junior architects, fostering their professional growth and promoting a collaborative work environment.
-Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions, upholding the reputation of ACOARCH.
-Be present during agreed working hours
Contractual Arrangement:
This position is an independent contractor role, with hourly pay based on the agreed-upon rate. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes. Equipment and software licences can be provided should you require them. The specific terms and conditions of the contract will be discussed and agreed upon during the hiring process.
