Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Architect with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our team as an independent contractor. As a Junior Architect, you will work closely with our senior architectural team to assist in the design and development of various architectural projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in architecture, excellent Revit proficiency, and the ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines.
Successful Applicants need to possess the following:
-M Arch (Advantageous) / B.Tech / BAS
- A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience.
-Advanced proficiency in Revit is essential; knowledge of other design software such as Photoshop, Powerpoint and AutoCAD is a plus
-Experience working collaboratively in Revit and Teams is not essential but advantageous.
-Knowledge of Lumion, Twin Motion or D5 advantageous
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- All contractors are required to have a minimum internet speed of 30MB (upload and download speeds)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop architectural designs and concepts for projects.
- Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and visualizations using Revit and rendering software.
- Participate in project meetings and presentations, providing input and suggestions as required.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Stay updated on current architectural trends, technologies, and industry standards.
-Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions, upholding the reputation of ACOARCH.
-Be present during agreed working hours
Contractual Arrangement:
This position is an independent contractor role, with hourly pay based on the agreed-upon rate. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own taxes. Equipment and software licences can be provided should you require them. The specific terms and conditions of the contract will be discussed and agreed upon during the hiring process.
